Job Description

Commodities Compliance Advisory Officer (12891)                        Circa £75,000

 

The Company

My client is one of the largest banking organisations in the world. They are looking to expand their London operation with the employment of a Commodities Advisory specialist. 

They are looking for talented people who are motivated by high growth potential.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Provide Compliance advice and guidance to the Commodities business and other relevant functions
Monitor changing regulatory standard and business initiatives to ensure the effectiveness of the control framework
Advise on Compliance implications of new products/activities 
Supplement induction training by meeting with new joiners to highlight compliance matters
Provide advice / guidance to the business in connection with potential SARs and transactions
Assist the surveillance team investigating flagged transactions and resolution of matters raised
Attend business meetings where appropriate
Investigate and respond to queries from relevant exchanges
Monitor and manage regulatory change
Act as first point of contact for complaints received into commodities area​

 

 

Skills Required:

 

Solid understanding of Commodities products and markets;

Good knowledge of the LME, CME and ICEFE; ​
